HQ Thoughts: "Well, that was a pleasant surprise! R. Michael McWhorter of Tizzy Entertainment gave Weekend Horror the pleasure to present his short horror- Things That Go Bump for our audience to view and trust me when I say it has an awesome twist!

Horror shorts are a specialty in their own right only because the goal is to capture all of the elements of fear and/or disgust in a very short period of time and with a limited amount of dialogue. TTGB caught every bit of that including a bit of comedy and executed it amazingly!

As the summary states; Megan just moved into her own home and almost immediately she is bothered by a night demon that has something coming for him... Just watch!

HQ Thoughts: "I'm excited to mention that Haute Tension is EASILY 1 of my favorite films because again, it is 1 of those gems that managed to shock the mess out of me and I was authentically scared for a while after watching this for the 1st time (and every time after). It's definitely a love story with horrific standards and outcomes and who doesn't enjoy a love story???

The film kicks into high gear like 15-20 minutes in and keeps you on your toes the entire time while you are there with Marie and Alexa as they attempt to escape a random ass madman who managed to take out Alexia's entire family in minutes. No wonder the title, which is also referred to as 'Switchblade Romance'.

Marie stops at nothing to protect her college friend until the ultimate twists takes place, sending you on a downward spiral of HOLY SHIT-ness and a clear cut and screwed ending. 

NOT A LET DOWN AT ALL. This film is brilliant. A work of originality. Wish there was a Part Deux in the works, I could totally see this becoming a franchise of a small sort. I love it beyond belief!"

HQ Thoughts: "Uzumaki is often referred to as Spiral or Vortex and is the movie form of a 20 chapter manga by the same name. Truly creepy and an awesome adaptation of what is 1 of the wildest manga I've read in a while! So I was surprised to know that they even attempted to make a film out that 'twisted' piece of work.

A small town in Tokyo is tormented by an influx of spirals, everywhere! Kirie watches as her classmates, parents, boyfriend and others turn into snails, die horrible deaths and commit suicide as the obsession of the vortex spreads like wild fire to everyone in the vicinity.

The concept and cinematography is SUPERB! It's seriously like bringing the essence of a horror comic to life, well done. I would even consider this be another dark comedy with yucky OMG moments. This is a great film that keeps you wondering why and what the hell, completely different from anything you've seen before with no shorts on gore and surprising moments."
