Sinister (2012)<----Click Me 4 Movie!!!

Sinister: But He Did Everything Right, Right?!:
(Title LINK is English)
2012/USA/R/Horror

""A true-crime writer finds a cache of 8mm home movies films that suggest the murder he is currently researching is the work of a serial killer whose career dates back to the 1960s." ~ Sinister (2012)

HQ Thoughts: "I've had first hand access to this movie for over a year and boy am I kicking myself right now... This movie was GREAT! I liked it so much that I feel like putting on a Sinister mask for Halloween (not ruled out just yet- with a girly touch of course.)

Wow, what a dark, tense film with all types of unexpected frights that made me scream an honest scream. Ethan Hawke plays a crime writer named Ellison who apparently travels to crime scenes (or near them, w/ his family) to do his own investigative reporting on the murders. He comes to a town where a murder of the Stevenson family captured tons of traction then suddenly went cold with the littlest victim gone missing.

When Ellison moves into the home and looks around, he finds a stash of home movies that are bound to make you go WTF?! I sure did. His intent is to write and publish a book as he has done before with new facts and details. What Ellison didn't know was that he was in for a ridiculously wild ride while uncovering the real reasoning behind the 8mm films.

I surely plan on owning this one, watching it periodically to set the bar again and again for other films to follow. I truly loved this movie! 10/10 on my non-existent rating system. :)"
