HQ Thoughts: "One thing I can say about this film is that the story line is EXCELLENT! It drew me in as soon as I turned it on and the concept is a bit of a diversion from the countless other Grudge movies that I've seen in the past, this one actually has a well thought out purpose for a successful revenge which I think this film accomplished.
There are many moments of fright but if you are looking for an all out gorefest, not this time. I'm sure by now reading my site- you see that I am extremely interested in cerebral movies... This didn't disappoint just a tad bit slow at moments.
While trying to capture you in the feelings department for Moui (10 in Vietnamese) you realize that she too, is a scorned woman but from a century ago. She was trapped in an unfinished portrait that was in the works by a love interest who just so happened to be married..... Go figure. His wife found out and voila, you have a pretty cool flick.
As with several others; Muoi was included in my horror-thon for my blogging pleasure and made the cut... Hope you enjoy as well!"
