HQ Thoughts: "A timeless story of fame, jealousy and girl group problems. Pink Dolls is the epitome of what 'has-beens' are in this film that points out every flaw that people we supposedly idolize have.
Pink Dolls is a group comprised of 4 women from different areas of entertainment. Eun-ju is the oldest and least liked out the bunch until she finds a VHS of a song that she never heard before. When she brings it to her overzealous manager, they revamp it a bit and release it with hopes of jumping back on the radar- and boy did they ever.
Things start to go wrong with each girl as they try to establish who will take center/lead/main. The song is extremely complex and high pitched and I think each girl gave it a good shot until they all began to get hurt in wild ways.
Overall, I think the concept is original, far fetched but entertaining with very pretty women and great acting. It's worth a watch, if that is all you are willing to give it. Oh and take a listen to the full song. It's pretty cool!"
