HQ Thoughts: This film takes you backwards through a tragic and horrible , yet eventful day. It allows for a thorough introspect of what actually happened, why and what went wrong overall. You wonder and wonder until you hit that 'AHA!' moment which isn't until way later. Irreversible is TRULY a visual masterpiece, making you take in every bit of the movie in order to really appreciate the ending. O yea!
An young woman (named Alex) carries on as usual, entertaining a party with 2 of her friends. What's awaiting, tends to take a turn for the worse when she eventually separates from them. There is so much to take away from the directorial ingeniousness; how to appreciate life, how to make the right decisions, thinking.... And basically destiny.
There is a scene in this movie that was very difficult for me to take in but I watched it, in it's entirety and God bless that young lady for her endurance for that. Very interesting indeed.
Again, a perfect example of "Horror" without your typical monsters and goblins! I only watched it once, it is forever ingrained in my memory, the turn of events are just... *sigh*
